Synthesis of photo-curable polymer for wearable thermoelectric power generation module |

Nowadays, 3D Printing field has been developing and the demand is also increasing. Accordingly, active research about photo-curable resin that is used photo curable 3D printer is underway. But, the almost existing ABS-based materials have high strength and non-flexibility. To solve this problem, we use Poly Dimethyl silloxan(PDMS) that is easy to attach a functional group and stretchable. In this research, we used functionalized polymer(FP) that was attached a monomer in PDMS and measured the mechanical properties depending on the monomer content. Then, flexible thermoelectric power generator which was composed by N-type( bismuth telluride), P-type (antimony telluride) using spark plasma sintering(SPS) was fabricated with 3D printing. The performance of thermoelectric power generation was investigated, the promising potential for energy generation with human body temperature was found. |
