Polydiacetylene (PDA) vesicles functionalized with polyamine groups for the detection of carbon dioxide |
초록 |
Anthropogenic CO2 raises ocean acidification and leads to severe threats to marine environment. A loss of biodiversity and alteration of marine ecosystems may have a serious harmful effect directly or indirectly on human beings. Accordingly, an effective CO2 sensing system is required in order to implement a marine environment monitoring. Here, we showed newly polyamine-functionalized polydiacetylene (PDA) derivative named as TRCDA-DETA. The colorimetric and fluorogenic responses of TRCDA-DETA vesicles were investigated by applying CO2 directly. Particular color transition and fluorescent emission indicated that TRCDA-DETA vesicles are possible to be an effective tool for CO2 detection as well as having potential applications in many fields.
