Solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) are key materials in safety and flexibility of lithium ion batteries but their ionic conductivities are very low compared with that of liquid counterparts. One of the reasons for the low conductivity is the low ion dissociation due to low dielectric medium of polymer. So it may be required to increase the dielectric constant of polymer matrix.
