In this study, we have prepared the PPE(polyphenylene ether)/nylon composites to investigate their physical property and flame retardancy. We used the phosphinate flame retardant, but in the case of previous conditions, the specimens’ physical property got worse significantly. So we used appropriate compatibilizer, filler and flame retardant, they were prepared by twin screw extruder and injection molding machine. Then we investigated the flammability of specimens by UL94V method. Finally, we prepared the best materials which have good flame retardancy and physical property. |
