제목 | Synthesis and characterization of NdFeB nanofibers by electrospinning |
초록 | Neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) is considered as strongest magnets due to its higher magnetic properties than any other magnetic materials such as SmCo5. It have been widely used for motors, hard disc drive, and MRI as a permanent magnet. In previous reports, various methods including sol-gel combustion, co-precipitation, and hydrothermal method have been reported to obtain NdFeB nanoparticle and nanofilm. However, to the best of our knowledge, there is no report for synthesis of one-dimensional (1-D) NdFeB nanostructure. 1-D magnetic nanofibers have a high shape anisotropy as compared to 0-D and 2-D, also 1-D nanostructure is less agglomerated than nanoparticle. So it is expected that magnetic properties in 1-D NdFeB nanostructure will be improved. In this work, NdFeB nanofibers were proposed for the first time, and it was prepared by using an electrospinning method and subsequent Reduction-Diffusion (R-D) process. FE-SEM analysis revealed the morphology of nanofibers. Crystallinity and phase change behavior during process flow were investigated by XRD. Also, the magnetic properties of the NdFeB nanowires were also investigated by VSM. |
