Dynamic analysis and/or isothermal analysis is generally used on the kinetic analysis of thermosetting system. Kissinger method and Ozawa method are typical dynamic analysis methods. In isothermal analysis, n-th order kinetic model, autocatalytic reaction model, or Kamal model is generally applied. In this study, isothermal autocatalytic reaction model was adopted in analyzing the curing behaviour under ambient condition, which is not isothermal condition. By using the temperature dependency of kinetic constant, isothermal kinetic models can be applied to non-isothermal conditions. In addition, the temperature dependency on the viscosity, and the effect of suspended filler on the viscosity were considered in explaining the viscosity changes during cure. |
