제목 Effect of Calcination Atmosphere of TiO2 on Photocatalytic Activity of Pd/TiO2 catalysts
초록 Generally, the introduction of defects on TiO2 can enhance the photocatalytic activity. Some researchers have been studied to tune the surface species such as Ti3+, Ti4+, and oxygen vacancies by plasma treatment or vacuum activation. Herein, we investigated the introduction of defects on TiO2 by calcination under different atmosphere. TiO2 was synthesized by sol-gel method and then calcined under different atmosphere including air, N2, and H2. Pd/TiO2 catalysts were prepared by deposition-precipitation using pre-treated TiO2. All the catalysts were characterized by XRD, N2 physisorption, NH3-TPD, CO2-TPD, Raman, ESR, XPS, and PL spectroscopy. The photocatalytic activity was tested via photocatalytic degradation of methyl violet 2B.
