제목 WO3 embeded carbon nanofibers from electrospun core/shell nanofiber as a NO2 gas sensor
초록 WO3 embeded carbon nanofibers (CNF) were fabricated by carbonization of WCl6 retained polymer nanofibers. Polymer nanofibers were prepared by single-nozzle co-electrospinning using poly(acrylonitrile) (PAN) and WCl6 dissolved poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) mixed polymer solution. Diameter of CNF were modulated from 40 to 130 nm by varying concentration of PVP solution. NO2 gas sensor was assembled by using spin-coating method to deposit CNF on sensor substrate. NO2 sensor exhibit 1ppm minimum detectable level at room temperature for using 40 nm CNF. Besides, increasing population of WO3 reinforce the sensitivity toward NO2 gas. In addition, fast recovery time was acquired by ultraviolet (UV) irradiation which lowered the desorption level between NO2 gas and transducer materials during recover process.
