Preparation of porous chitosan/collagen scaffolds for the acceleration of bone regeneration |
초록 |
Porous scaffold is essential means in tissue engineering to support the three dimensional tissue development. In this investigation, collagen/chitosan porous scaffold were prepared and evaluated its physical and biological functionalities. Collagen is one of the most commonly used biomaterials because of its advantageous properties such as low antigenicity and promotion of cell proliferation. Chitosan is a natural biodegradable polymer and known to have excellent bioactivity. The physical properties recovery and morphology, and chemical states of the prepared scaffold were examined using SEM, EDX, FT-IR. The biocompatibility of the scaffolds were examined via cell assays. Our results indicated that the combination of these polymers generated synergistic effects to promote physical and biological properties of the scaffold. |
