New characterization approach of pitch derived from pyrolyzed fuel oil using TLC-FID and MALDI-TOF |
초록 |
Thermal reactions were performed to understand the characteristics of pitch derived from PFO. The reaction conditions were carefully controlled with a temperature-management system to prevent coke formation. The experimental results using a real feedstock were discussed in terms of both the thermal and chemical properties. It was observed that increasing the temperature led to the formation of asphaltene during the reaction. The aromatic fraction decreased due to the conversion of material into the asphaltene fraction. The molecular weight segment exhibited fluctuations for each fraction when divided by a pseudo-component. These segments changed according to formation of asphaltene by thermal reaction. Finally, it was determined that the SARA fraction and molecular weight are functions of the thermal properties. |
