In this study, we investigated the reaction parameters which can control the size of Au nanoparticles synthesized in aqueous solution by chemical reducing method. Under the presence of aqueous solution, the size of Au nanoparticles was changed when variation of reducing agent species and reducing agent-to-Au molar ratio, temperature and time of reaction and injection time were varied. To understand their mechanism of formation, we used transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and UV-Vis spectrophotometry to monitor the stabilities and size distributions of the Au nanoparticles. |
