Our research focused on the nanogranulation of Pt-Ru-Mo alloy nanoparticles on MWCNT using flash light irradiation for DMFC catalysts. This process for synthesizing catalysts is a room temperature and ambient process, while the conventional process are time-consuming, vacuum and toxic process until now. Therefore, this method can be a good candidate for cost-effective, environmentally benign and ultra-fast process. Characteristics of Pt-Ru-Mo/MWCNT were investigated with respect to the atomic ratios. Morphologies of catalysts were characterized bySEM,XRD and raman spectroscopy. CV were conducted in 1M CH3OH and 0.5M H2SO4 to investigate the electro-chemical performance. From this study,the flash light irradiation could granulate the Pt-based alloy nanoparticles on MWCNT and reduce the defect of MWCNT. Thank to these characteristics,our catalysts fabricated by the flash light irradiation showed the better performance than those fabricated by the conventional process. |
