제목 Effect of O2 and Air on Pathogenic Microorganisms Disinfectionby Ionizing Radiation
초록 The comparative experiment was conducted to compare the effect of O2 and air along with gamma ray on the disinfection efficiencies against S. choleraesuis, E. Coli K12, B. subtilis and S. aureus. The disinfection efficiency of O2 saturation with gamma radiation of 1kGy against S. choleraesuis, E. Coli K12, S. aureus and B. subtilis were 5.06 log(99.99%), 8.06 log(99.99%), 4.91 log(99.99%) and 1.33 log(95.29%), respectively. Therefore, O2 or air with radiation technology such as e-beam has promise as an effective process for the disinfection of the pathogenic microorganisms.
