Liquid-liquid equilibria for ternary systems of Di-isopropyl Ether (DIPE) + water + BMIM[BF4] at several temperatures |

In recent years, there has been a surge of interest in using ionic liquids (ILs) as solvents. They show interesting properties that would allow them to replace classic organic solvents while improving performance and causing less damage to the environment. In this work, The ternary liquid-liquid equilibrium (LLE) data for the system DIPE + water + [EMIM][SO4] at several temperatures were analytically determined at atmospheric pressure by using stirred and thermo-regulated cells. Each experimental data were correlated by NRTL and UNIQUAC equations and the correlated values were compared with the measured values. |
