제목 | Noninvasive detection of circulating PD-L1 using ultrasensitive biosensor for diagnosis of bladder cancer |
초록 | Since bladder cancer has the highest recurrence rate among malignancies, early diagnosis and periodic prognosis monitoring are essential. Circulating PD-L1 is a promising biomarker for bladder cancer. However, current screening methods have limitations to detect trace amounts of circulating PD-L1 in urine and serum. In this study, we developed a dual-gate field-effect transistor (DGFET) biosensor with an extended sensing part (ESP) to quantify the circulating PD-L1 for bladder cancer. A protein blocking layer is introduced on the ESP surface to improve the detection performance in biological fluid environments. DGFET biosensor with ESP showed high sensitivity and durability in the pH sensing test. Moreover, we have successfully detected trace amounts of circulating PD-L1 in 1xPBS solution within 20 min. Our results demonstrate that DGFET biosensor with ESP can be a practical sensor platform for the clinical diagnosis of bladder cancer. |
