A great interest in the wearable electronics rises the development of power-independant and miniaturized self-powered flexible sensors. Here, we proposed the ultra-flexible self-powered triboelectric sensors based on hierarchically designed polymers. The inner porous and surface micro-textured design of hierarchical polymers provide the maximal volume changes from the mechanical stress, which causes the increase of sensitivity and output power. The highly deformative porous microstructures provide the gap distance in the interlocked films without spacer, which makes the ultra-flexible triboelectric sensors to wear on the body as well as perceive the vital signals and bodily motion. Also, the fast response of triboelectric sensors could detect the high frequency of contact vibrations and acoustic waves. Finally, the ultra-flexible triboelectric sensors could be fully packaged and thus insensitive to the humid environment, which enables practical use for next-generation wearable devices. |
