제목 Characterization of exfoliated MoS2
초록 Molybdenum disulfide(MoS2) is a layered filler that is widely used in polymer composite materials because it has high mechanical and heat resistance as well as excellent chemical and abrasion resistance. S-Mo-S of MoS2 has strong covalent bonds and relatively weak van der waals forces between layers. Therefore, the material having such a layered structure can be separated into a single layer or multiple layers through various methods, and exhibits unique characteristics according to dimensional control.
In this study, the intercalation method was used to exfoliate bulk MoS2 and to determine the properties of the two-dimensional materials depending on the number of atomic layers. TEM and Raman spectroscopy were used to confirm the exfoliation of MoS2. Specimens will be manufactured through polymer matrix and compounding to analyze contact angle (CA), TGA, UTM, and to study the characteristics of composites.
