Coordination Polymer Synthesized by Ionothermal Reaction |

Ionothermal synthesis is an emerging technique for synthesizing metal organic frameworks due to its high tunability. Cations of ionic liquids are known to provide template for metal organic framework while anions are known to be responsible for structure induction. In this research, effects of cation on Co(OAc)2 -/ H3BTC system was studied using [Bmim]Br, [Bmim]BF4, and [Bmim]Tf2N as solvents (Bmim: 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium, Tf2N: bis((trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl)amide). |
