제목 Characterization of Cellulose Nanofibril-Based Hydrogels Induced by Cationic Ions
초록 This study reports characterization of cellulose nanofibrils (CNFs)-based hydrogels prepared by combining CNFs with three cationic ions such as Al3+, Ca2+, or H+. CNFs were isolated by 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl radical (TEMPO)-mediated oxidation followed by different ultrasonication times. The carboxyl charge content of CNF measured by conductometric titration increased with an increase in the sonication time. Morphological, chemical, mechanical and rheological characteristics of these hydrogels were evaluated using field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and rheometery, respectively.
