All-inorganic CsPbX3 (X: Cl, Br, or I) perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) have studied due to their excellent potentials to versatile applications. One of the applications, about the while light emitting diodes (LEDs) and white backlight, the one of major technical issues is to reduce pixel size as well as enhance the radiative process. With the high PLQY, the PQDs could be one of the excellent candidates for the LEDs. One problem to emit the white light from the PQDs is that changing their emissions to single emission due to halide exchange process among the PQDs. Therefore, it is necessary to block or retard the halide migration to protect identical emissions for the each PQDs. In this work, by introducing the Cs-oleate capping on the PQDs to retard the halide migration process. We investigated kinetics of halide migration process with presence of the Cs-oleate capping layer as well as the effect of capping process to activation energy for the halide exchange process. |
