제목 Non-volatile Organic Memory Devices Based On A Conjugated Copolymer
초록 Since the demonstration of switching and its associated memory effect, there have been many studies about organic memory devices for the past few decades. One of the potential candidates for an active layer of organic memory devices is a blended thin-film of electron donor and acceptor in a polymer matrix. The donor-acceptor system not only has the problem to find a proper solvent to solve the materials simultaneously but also can occur the phase separation that prevent the device from having a stable, long operating lifetime. To avoid the problems, we synthesized the copolymer which have covalently bonded electron donors and acceptors. A 50 nm-thick bottom and top Al electrodes were formed by thermal evaporation. The active layer of organic memory device consisted of a 2 wt% of copolymer in o-dichlorobenzene. The device showed two different conductance states and there was no significant degradation of devices in both the OFF and ON states for 10000sec of continuous bias at 2 V.
