제목 Plasmon-Enhanced Polymeric Solar Cells Incorporating Gold Nanorods
초록 Metal nanoparticles with surface plasmon excitation have been recently investigated to improve the performance of both silicon and organic solar cell devices. They can strongly interact with visible light because of the localized surface plasmon resonances (LSPR) derived from the collective oscillations of electrons within the particles. The excitation of LSPR causes local enhancement in the electromagnetic field, which is expected to enhance light harvesting in the solar cell devices. In this study, we developed a simple method; doping gold nanorods into a low band-gap polymer to improve the device performance. We also investigated the size effect of the gold nanorods for induced LSPR on the phorocurrent behavior.
