Preparation of SiO2/SiO2-xNx Microspheres for Selective Adsorption of Radionuclides in Radioactive Wastes |
초록 |
One of the most widely used methods for adsorbing radioactive metal ions using silica is surface modification by functional groups such as amine(-NH) and thiol (-SH). A variety of researches for adsorption of metal ions with surface modification of silica have been reported. However, it is difficult to control the surface modification of silica with functional groups due to fastidious experimental conditions, expensive and limited in its supply. Herein, we synthesized the core/shell type SiO2/SiO2-xNx microsphere through the thermal treatment and we can easily make the SiO2/SiO2-xNx under low temperature and substitute nitrogen to oxygen vacancy by using the core/shell silica microspheres with mesopores. It can be prevent the increasing the particle size under post-annealing process. The SiO2/SiO2-xNx with various active sites caused by nitrogen doping and oxygen defects is expected to show the great adsorption properties of radionuclides in radioactive wastes. |
