제목 MXene Ink Hosting Zinc Anode for High Performance of Aqueous Zinc Metal Batteries
초록 Replacing Zn metal anode has been considered as one way for resolving Zn dendritic growth, HER, and byproduct on zinc metal anode, inhibiting practical application of Zn batteries. Here, we show the electrodeposition derived Zn-hosted MXene ink (MX@Zn) for patterning available and high rate capacity aqueous Zn batteries. Considering the morphology and physicochemical properties, the MX@Zn exhibits great electrochemical performance owing to high electric/ionic conductivity and hydrophilicity of MXene. Consequently, MX@Zn symmetric cells demonstrate stable Zn stripping/deposition over 270 h at 1 mA cm−2 with 85.5 mV of overpotential. For the Zn/MnO2 cell application, 50 % rate capability from 60 mA g-1 to 300 mA g-1 is demonstrated, and 79.7 % capacity retention at 200th cycles with 104.7 mAh g-1 of initial capacity is gained at 1,000 mA g-1. Furthermore, the devices with patterned MX@Zn electrodes application performed 64.3 % capacity retention at 1,000 mA g-1, 500th cycles with 84.7 mAh g-1 of initial capacity, and 348.6 Wh kg-1 and 1,556 W kg-1 of energy and power density as maximum, respectively.
