The phenolic lithium ion selective adsorbents(PLSA) were synthesized by suspension polymerization and carbonization method. The crystalline structure porosity, and morphology of PLSA were investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD), BET surface analyzer, and Scanning electron microscope(SEM). The amount of lithium adsorption from seawater was calculated by ICP-AES. The BET of PLSA was 97.97 m2/g and 120.05m2/g. The adsorption capacity of lithium was between 10.3 mg/g resin and 20.1 mg/g resin. The desorption rate of lithium from the PLSA was 96 %. |
