제목 Biocompatibility Screening of Modified Polymers for Tissue Regeneration Application
초록 Biopolymer is one of attractive substance widely used for medical purpose, including hydrogel. Regarding that notion, we have been modifying several biopolymers in order to obtain better properties. Observation of cell behavior, cell viability and cell proliferation were performed in this study. CMC-PEO, hydrogel formed of acrylated CMC and PEO-tiols, demonstrated good support for cell viability and migration through pore channel in the gel [3]. Similarly, CS-PEO and CS gel which were formed of crosslinking between acrylated CS and PEO-thiols, CS-TCEP respectively, also showed excellent in vitro biocompatibility, severally toward bone cells and fibroblasts [4, 5].
