제목 Fabrication of monodispersed PMMA/Ag hybrid particles via electroless plating:The effect of particle sizes on the electroless plating
초록 Based on the previous work, which was the optimum concentration of plating bath and activation agent, reaction time and the reaction temperature for using 5um PMMA particles, the monodispersed PMMA core particles with various particle sizes were prepared by dispersion polymerization and silver layers were coated via electroless silver plating technique. The particle sizes were 3um, 1um and submicrons. The characteristics of the PMMA/Ag core/shell particles were studied by using various instrumental analyses such as SEM, TEM, TGA, PSA and 4-point probe. Then, the effect of the particle sizes on the elctroless plating for forming silver layer on the PMMA core was discussed.
