Studies on mechanical and thermal properties of surface modified graphite reinforced polyamine 6 composites |

Recently, the heating effect on the electronic products performance has been overwhelming due to increase in the usage of electronic equipment and space reduction in the system is ever increasing asper needs. Accordingly development of polymer composite with high thermal conductivity is essential for applying towards electronic industry. In this study, to understand the various properties of prepared composites were studied with functionalized graphite powders like metal deposition on graphite, without metal deposition. Their mechanical properties (UTM), thermal conductivity (laser flash method)and morphological studies (FE-SEM) were carried out. Mechanical properties of addition of filler are decreased. But increasing of concentration of filler(graphite or functionalized graphite) is improving the thermal conductivity. For comparison graphite and functionalized graphite were used for competitive studies. |
