Selective Hydrogenation of Allylic Alcohols to Saturated Alcohols by Efficient Heterogeneous Ruthenium Catalyst |
| 초록 |
The easily prepared solid-supported ruthenium could act as a heterogeneous catalyst for selective transfer hydrogenation of allylic alcohols via an efficient sequential process of isomerization and Meerwein-Ponndorf-Verley-type (MPV-type) reduction. The various substrates including terminal, internal, and cyclic allylic alcohols were converted to the desired products in high yield with 2-propanol as both proton source and solvent. The catalyst could be reused with retention of the high catalytic performance. |
