제목 Growth potential of microalgal strains by direct application of High CO2 contained coal-fired flue gas
초록 Microalgae is a sort of algae that intake Carbon dioxide and produce various useful products. Especially, green microalgae strain have high conversion efficiency of Carbon dioxide and they produce lipids. In this study, environmental adapted microalgae strains were cultivated by direct application of coal-fired flue gas that represented its high concentration of carbon dioxide. The cultivation sites is in Taean branch of Korea Western Power Co., LTD.(Taean, Chungcheongnam-do, 36.9038446,126.2324481). The microalgal biomass productivity of the wild strains and the selected mutant strains were evaluated, and the strains cultured under the same conditions at the same time. In addition, a scale-up cultivation of a single 1 ton scale was also completed.
