제목 Porous Melamine-Vanillin Polymer: Application to Heavy Metal Removal
초록 Environmental water pollution by heavy metal ions from industrial waste is becoming a great attention. Because heavy metal ions cannot be degradable, they can accumulate and give some deleterious effect on living organisms. To remove them, adsorption is the promising process because the used adsorbent can be regenerated and reused, which is significantly effective and economical. To achieve the aforementioned adsorbent, we synthesized porous melamine-vanillin polymer (P-MVP) by Schiff base reaction and used as an adsorbent to remove lead ion (II) in wastewater.
