Nanohybrids of Polyimide and Organosilica Containing Different Functionalized Groups |

Aromatic polyimide, which exhibits outstanding dielectric, mechanical properties, and thermal stability has become an indispensable material for microelectronics and aircraft industries. Rencently Organic/Inorganic hybrid materials have been widely studied because novel materials properties can be produced through systematic design of the organic and inorganic segments. The hybrid materials offer the possibility of combining the advantages of the two different materials. In this study, nanohybrids of polyimide and organosilica, containing different functionalized groups were prepared using an in situ sol-gel reaction and multistep curing. PI was prepared from pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA) and oxydiphenylenediamine (ODA) PAA. The hybrid thin films were prepared by the PAAs. Organic/Inorganic hybrid nanocomposite films were characterzed by IR spectra. The properties of PI/Organosilica nanocomposite films were characterized by UV-vis transmission spectra, DMA, UTM and TGA. |
