제목 Synthesis and Characterization of High Refractive Index Polyimide Derived from 2,5-Bis(4-Aminophenylenesulfanyl)-3,4-Ethylenedithiothiophene and Aromatic Dianhydrides
초록 In this work, we synthesized and characterized the very high sulfur-containing polyimide series derived from a 2,5-bis(4-aminophenylenesulfanyl)-3,4-ethylenedithiopehene (APSEDTT) moiety. The APSEDTT monomer was polymerized with several aromatic dianhydrides such as 4,4’-[p-thiobis(phenylsulfabyl)]diphthalic anhydride (3SDEA), 4,4’-biphthalic anhydride (BPDA), and 4,4’-oxydiphthalic anhydride (ODPA). All of the PIs containing a thiophene unit exhibited very good thermal stability. Furthermore, we investigated promising advanced optical transparency and a high refractive index in the visible region. Especially, the PI derived from APSEDTT and 3SDEA showed a high refractive index (1.7586), and a low birefringence (0.0087).
