제목 Study on mechanical and thermal properties of carbon fiber-reinforced polyketone composites
초록 Polyketone composites were fabricated by a conventional extrusion process with carbon fiber (CF) as a filler. Test specimens were further obtained by an injection molding machine. The chopped CFs were used as a filler, improving polyketone composite's mechanical properties and thermal conductivity over neat polymer itself. In particular, we found the introduction of CF into polyketone improves the thermal stability and thermal conductivity of the composites at the same time. This thermal characteristics is theoretically explained by a model study. This improvements will be a potential solution to improve the polyketone's inherent disadvantage of long term thermal degradation.
