The gold chlorides (AuCl3)-doped graphene (GR) are employed for perovskite solar cells as transparent conductive electrodes (TCEs). The molar concentration (nD) of AuCl3 is varied from 1 to 10 mM. The doping of GR by AuCl3 enhances the electrical conductivity of the GR TCEs, resulting in remarkable improvements of the diode properties of the solar cells. However, the AuCl3 on the GR reduces the transmittance of the GR TCEs. This trade-off correlation makes the DC conductivity/optical conductivity ratio maximized to ~ 39 at nD = 7.5 mM. As a result, best solar cell performances: 1.08 open-circuit voltage, 21.0 mA-cm-2 short-circuit current density, 76.6 % fill factor, and 17.4 % PCE are obtained by doping at nD = 7.5 mM. |
