Vanadium Nitride-Graphene Composite Porous Paper for Asymmetric Supercapacitor Anode |
초록 |
With the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the development of advanced energy storage devices to implement the performance of devices in areas such as wearable electronics and healthcare as well as electric vehicles is essential. The supercapacitor, one of the promising candidates for the next generation of energy storage, has high power density and excellent life span, but has limited use due to its low energy density. To overcome the limitation, Asymmetric Supercapacitors(ASCs) is actively researched to expand the operating potential window by composing the negative and positive electrodes of the supercapacitor with different materials. To date, the imbalance between the developments of anode and cathode materials for ASCs remains a significant issue, which makes the development of high-performance anodes a crucial research direction. As potential active materials of anode, metal nitrides have great attention. Particularly, Vanadium Nitride(VN) has been in the spotlight due to its high theoretical capacity and excellent electrical conductivity. Here we report the VN/graphene composite paper for anode of ASCs. Through the hybridization of both materials, we fabricated well-dispersed porous structure free-standing electrode and implement not only great energy density, but also electrochemical stability and high rate capability. |
