Synthesis and Characterization of Liquid Crystal Retardation Film by Cyclopolymerization of diene type Reactive Mesogens |

In this research, a series of novel reactive mesogens have designed and synthesized, which employ completely different polymerization mode named as diene photopolymerization. These RMs willl be photopolymerized after aligning to prepare an optically anisotropic film such as λ/4 plate. Kinetics of diene photopolymerization have also investigated. |
