Physical and mechanical properties of EVA encapsulantin photovoltaic modules |
초록 |
Polymeric encapsulant materials are used in photovoltaic modules to provide electrical insulation and protect modules from mechanical damage and environmental corrosion. Photovoltaic devices are typically encapsulant using Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). In field-deployed PV module, mechanical properties of EVA can deteriorate on exposure to sunlight, heat and humidity, the changes are both chemical and mechanical in nature. In this study, EVA sheets are characterized by gel content, FT-IR spectrum, UV-vis spectrum, transmittance and damp-heat exposure. Base on these tests, promising new encapsulants in terms of their suitability for PV module packaging applications. |
