Donor-Acceptor conjugated copolymers can yield excellent charge-carrier mobilities in solution-based field-effect transistors (FETs), due to well-defined conjugated structures. However, the rigid conjugated structures of these D-A copolymers are hard to be used as semiconducting materials for flexible or stretchable devices. Here, we simply prepare solutions including a minor portion of DPP copolymers and a major portion of regiorandom PHT, and develop self-assembled structures of the D-A copolymers in the semiconductor/semiconductor polymer blends. On polymer-treated gate dielectrics, these blend films are spun-cast from the solutions. The semiconducting polymer blends show significant enhancement in stretchability of the resulting FETs, without any degradation in charge-carrier mobility. |
