Flame-retardant Resins Against REACH Regulation |
| 초록 |
The widely used halogen based flame-retardants have been regulated by REACH and ROHS due to their toxicity by producing dioxin and by damages in human life when fire accident happens in closed system. The efforts for the development of safe flame retarding plastics have been tried. We have tried to develop very effective flame-retardant materials for the thermoplastic resins using phosphinic acid and evaluated their physical and flame retarding properties. Synthesis and properties together with some more details of flame retardancy on those compounds will be presented. |
