제목 Graphene Oxide Sheets Intercalated by Carbon Nanotubes for Capacitor Electrodes
초록 Graphene and graphene oxide supercapacitors have been widely investigated, but the specific capacitance and energy density of such devices are still low compared to other supercapacitors. Herein, we propose a new material for high-power and high-energy supercapacitors with good cycle stability. Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are promising for use as spacers to increase the interlayer distance and conductivity of graphene oxides due to their high conductivity and nanoscale size. Graphene oxide intercalated by CNTs with the presence of poly (sodium 4-styrensulfonate) is expected to show high performance of electric double layer capacitance (EDLC) compared to pristine graphite. The high EDLC performance of the GO/CNTs/PSS is attributed to the wide interlayer distance and simple pore structures accommodating fast ion kinetics.
