Oxygen barrier property of layer-by-layer assembled film composed of cellulose derivative and polyethylenimine under high RH condition |
초록 |
The polyelectrolyte multi-layers were prepared using the layer-by-layer assembled process on the PET film as a substrate. The layer-by-layer assembled process was conducted using negative charged cellulose derivative and positive charged polyethylenimine. In the OTR results, the formation of polyelectrolyte complex (PEC) enhanced the property of oxygen barrier due to the compact structure of the cellulose derivative. The degree of interaction between oppositely charged ions affected on the OTR value and was modulated changing the pH condition of aqueous solutions. In conclusions, the completeness of PEC formation and the relatively low water-vapor sorption of the cellulose derivative in a specific pH region had influenced on the enhanced oxygen barrier of the film even under high RH condition. |
