Preparation of layer-by-layer assembly coating with polyelectrolyte complex composed of cationic and anionic bio-based polymer and its gas barrier property |
| 초록 |
Bio-polymeric barrier materials have become increasingly important in recent years due to environmental issues using conventional plastic materials. The polyelectrolyte complex (PEC) coating for gas barrier was built by layer-by-layer process using bio-based polymers composed with hydroxypropyl methylcellulose phthalate (HPMCP) and polysaccharide derivatives. In the OTR results, it could be inferred that the compact structure formed between HPMCP and polysaccharide derivatives might influence the oxygen barrier property in PEC coating. Based on this research, the bio-based barrier coating with proper molecular complex could be adopted in various applications which were required gas barrier property. |
