제목 Preparation and characterization of hierarchically porous carbon monoliths prepared from water-soluble 2-hydroxyethyl cellulose for supercapacitors
초록 Hierarchically porous carbon monoliths (PCMs) were successfully prepared from water-soluble 2-hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) via ice-templating followed by carbonization. HEC monoliths containing various amount of KCl were first fabricated via ice-templating and freeze-drying. The HEC monoliths were carbonized at 1000 oC under inert atmosphere to obtain PCMs. The specific surface area of the prepared PCMs increased up to 1095.74 m2/g with increasing the amount of KCl. The PCM-based electrode showed a high specific capacitance of 278 F/g at 1 A/g in a 6.0 M KOH electrolyte, and an excellent cycle stability of ~100% at 10 A/g after 20,000 cycles.
