Highly conductive nanocomposites were prepared by in situ polymerization of aniline with graphite oxide (GO) as electromagnetic interference shielding materials. γ-Fe2O3 and BaTiO3 were also incorporated in the nanocomposites to improve the ferromagnetic and ferroelectric properties. SEM images showed the uniformly coated polyanilie (PANi) on the surface of GO, γ-Fe2O3, and BaTiO3. XRD peaks also confirmed the presence of GO, γ-Fe2O3, and BaTiO3 in the nanocomposites. The nanocomposites showed the significant improvement in permittivity, permeability, and electromagnetic interference shielding efficiency due to the conductive effect of GO, the magnetic effect of γ-Fe2O3, and the electric effect of BaTiO3. The electromagnetic interference shielding efficiency of nanocomposites was improved due to the synergetic effect of reflection and absorption of electromagnetic interference by GO, γ-Fe2O3, and BaTiO3 additives. |
