제목 Temperature-responsive drug release behavior of surface modified PVA/PNIPAAm hydrogel
초록 The poly(vinyl alcohol)/ poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) hydrogel was synthesized by the free radical polymerization for the temperature-responsive drug delivery carrier. The oxyfluorination and fluorination of the hydrogel have a pronounced effect on the drug release behavior resulting from the introduction of C-O bonds or C-F bonds. The oxyfluorination and fluorination treatments changed the surface characteristics to have hydrophilic functional groups and hydrophobic functional groups, respectively. Both swelling ratio and drug release behavior were remarkably improved on the oxyfluorination conditions as more hydrophilic functional groups were introduced. On the other hand, drug release from fluorinated hydrogel showed the sustained drug release behavior compared to the oxyfluorinated hydrogel.
