Improvement of electrochemical properties by graphene-polyaniline/carbon nanotube nanocomposites |

Graphene (GN)-polyaniline (PANI)/carbon nanotube (CNT) nanocomposites were synthesized via in situ polymerization to enhance their electrochemical properties. Graphite oxide(GO) was synthesized from pure graphite flake by Hummers method and then was reduced to produce GN. Various contents of PANI/CNT nanocomposite were homogeneously distributed between GN sheets successfully by flow-assembly of the mixture of GN and PANI/CNT. Scanning electron microscope images indicated that the nanocomposites had the layer-structure of PANI/CNT nanocomposite sandwiched between the GN sheets. The crystalline structures of GN-PANI/CNT nanocomposites were characterized using X-ray diffractometer. The thermal properties of GN, PANI/CNT, and GN-PANI/CNT were studied using thermogravimetric analysis. The electrical conductivity was evaluated by a four-point probe meter. PANI/CNT nanocomposite uniformly sandwiched between GN sheets showed the better electrochemical properties compared to GN alone. |
