Recently, white organic light emitting diodes (WOLEDs) addressing a two- or three-color blend systems have attracted attention for their use in solid-state-lighting applications. Moreover, the device fabrication method of solution process was considered as a strategy for controlling the doping concentration with the desired composition using than a vacuum process. In this study, two dendritic luminogens of 3ICz-Tr and Tri-tNID were designed and synthesized as blue fluorescent and orange-red thermally activated delayed fluorescent emitter, respectively. Mixing the two molecules, WOLED devices were fabricated and optimized their mixture composition. In addition, the WOLED device using 3ICz-Tr and Tri-tNID (99.5:0.5 wt. ratio) without additional host material demonstrated nearly pure white emission with the EQEmax of 8.32% and CIE coordinate of (0.32, 0.30). |
