제목 | Electrochemical characterization of plasticized solid polymer electrolyte based on segmented polyether polyurethane and multivalent cations |
초록 | Since Wright discovered ionic conductivity of a polyethylene oxide (PEO)/ Na+ complex in 1975, the study of solid polymer electrolyte (SPE) became quite active, in particular for the improvement of ionic conductivity. Ever since Armand proposed the application of SPE to lithium batteries, the research and development effort has been made throughout the world. Recently, various types of polyurethane possessing oligo ethylene oxide units have been studied as SPEs, because of their excellent mechanical properties and low glass transition temperature (Tg). In particulary, multivalent salts have good electrochemical stability in SPE based on polyether polyurethane (SPEU). However, multivalent salts have lower ionic conductivity than lithium salts in SPE based on SPEU. The aim of this work is to develop solid polymer electrolyte which has high ionic conductivity and good electrochemical stability by using organic plasticizer. SPEs was composed of 1,4-butanediol, 4,4'-methylenebis(phenyl isocyanate), polyethylene glycol, and various organic plasticizer such as ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate, γ-butyrolactone. Electrochemical properties of SPEs were investigated by using AC impedance measurement and cyclic voltammetry (CV). |
