제목 | High Performance Graphene-based Electrode Materials for Supercapacitor Applications |
초록 | Graphene has been extensively studied as an electrode material for supercapacitors due to its large specific surface area, high electric conductivity and excellent chemical/mechanical stability. However, reported graphene for supercapacitors show still low specific capacitance. Here, we developed new approaches to improve pseudocapacitive properties of graphene: graphene nanomesh and activated graphene microball. Graphene nanomesh with nanoscale quasi-periodic nanoholes are expected to possess superior electrochemical properties. Another approach is the activated graphene microball, which is an assembly of 2D graphene in a 3D microball structure further treated by activation. In this study, we report on the graphene nanomesh and activated graphene microballs as high specific capacitance electrode materials for supercapacitors. Detailed synthetic procedure, electrochemical properties of nanomesh graphene and activated graphene microballs will be discussed in the meeting. |
